HEATHEN has changed it's name to "FAT ZERO".

January 23, 2004
Bill & Chas have a NEW BAND and are rehearsing now for their first gig in March 2004. Info about the new band members, photos & bios will be added to our new "FAT ZERO" website when we have it together. The new website address will be available on this present website to direct you to the new site. We're excited about the new band and can't wait to get the music out to you!

FAT ZERO went to the INSEA recording studio and recorded a demo CD for promotional purposes. We performed six cover songs: Sex Type Thing (STP), Are You Gonna be my Girl (Jet), Times Like These (Foo Fighters), Hash Pipe (Weezer), Just Got Paid (ZZ Top) and When I'm Gone (3 Doors Down). We're now back to putting together the balance of tunes that we'll need for the first gig in March.

HEATHEN band members are Bill Whitlatch (Lead Guitarist & Vocals), Chas Smith (Bass Guitarist & Vocals), Auditioning Now (Lead Vocalist & Rhythm Guitarist) and Auditioning Now (Drummer & Vocals). HEATHEN is from Southeastern Ohio (Athens & Hocking counties). We're a very active and popular Rock 'N' Roll band performing regularly in Southeastern & Central Ohio nightclubs.

HEATHEN performs Rock 'N' Roll songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's and current rock hits. We're what is called a 'cover band' in that we perform songs recorded by the original artist's (as most bar bands do). However, we make no attempt to duplicate the sound of the original songs as they were recorded. We are first and foremost a "Band of Musicians" who perform songs the way that we feel them. We are professional in our musical arrangements and in our performances. We also have a professional attitude toward the responsibilities of each gig. We have fun when we play because we enjoy the opportunity to make live music happen!

SIDE NOTE: It was an Ohioan that coined the phrase "Rock 'N' Roll" (Alan Freed) and Ohio has the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland. Rock 'N' Roll is as natural and normal to the people of Ohio as the blues is to the people of Chicago, Mississippi or Texas. HEATHEN does what we can to contribute to, and to perpetuate, Rock 'N' Roll music in it's awesome raw natural state.

LOTS OF MUSIC!
When you come out to hear HEATHEN perform you will hear 3 1/2 hours of music in a 4 hour gig! We do that by intention. Afterall, that is one thing you like when you go out to hear live music isn't it? We want you to have a total music experience when you listen to HEATHEN perform and one way to help you do that is to perform more songs! Lots of Rock 'N' Roll to get your adrenaline moving and to add to your party night.
